Shelterbox
As you may know ShelterBox was set up by Rotary in the United Kingdom in 2000.
Right now, around 85 million people around the world have been made homeless by natural disaster and conflict. ShelterBox is working to change this. By providing emergency shelter and tools for families robbed of their homes by disaster, we’re transforming despair into hope.
Let us introduce ourselves - we are both volunteers. My name is Charles Lambert and I am a member of Nelson West Rotary Club .
Jimmy Griffith is a ShelterBox Team Response member who has recently returned from the Rohingya Refugee Camp in Bangladesh.
We would like tell you a bit more about the latest deployments and strategies being undertaken by ShelterBox worldwide.
Would your evening meeting of Tuesday August 21st be available for us to speak? (NOW CONFIRMED)
For more information you can visit
https://www.facebook.com/ShelterBoxNZ/ Plus a recent article featuring Jimmy Griffith. https://www.stuff.co.nz/nelson-mail/news/103017458/going-back-into-the-crisis-zone Look forward to hearing from you.
