Hello all.
Well our penultimate meeting of the year went well with interesting reports from Dave Wylie (Club AGM) and David Fels (Trust AGM).
This was followed by a very interesting and enlightening talk on ShelterBox from Sally Fletcher. It is good that they now assess the each situations on its individual requirements and only send what is needed instead of sending the whole Shelter Box kit. Sally has certainly been around different parts of the word promoting Shelter Box. So well done Sally and keep up this very, very important work.
We had a bit of fun with our Sergeant selling parcels of books that John Savory put aside from Bookarama so thank you John for that. This was followed by a bumper Sergeants fine session well done Madeleine.
WE ARE NOW BACK TO GETTING THE Keyway weekly, the meeting Keyways are still looked after by Juergen and the interim ones by David Wylie and ably supported by Geoff Thompson.
So please help them by giving them content and it is rumoured that our Sergeant may be checking that we are all reading the Keyways so I suggest that to save yourselves money (fines) do click on “read more”.
Our next meeting, the last of the year, is our Christmas harmony and fun night so I hope that you have all sorted out what you are going to wear. And I hear Santa’s coming too, so exciting.
