 President's Message

Madeleine East

It was great to welcome you all to our dinner meeting on the 13th of February.

Numbers were down for the night due to illness and surgery with others still on their summer holidays.

Pleasing also to welcome Clem Da- Silva our exchange student from France.

Committee Directors presented an update on what has been achieved so far and what they hope to achieve in the next four or five months.

I wish to take this opportunity to thank all the Directors for their time and commitment in running their respective committees.

As from next month Keyway will be asking a Committee Director to produce a paragraph or two for inclusion in the Keyway, highlighting what has been achieved and what significant events can be expected going forward.

We were saddened to be advised that Allan Peterson had passed away. Allan was a long term Rotary member and also held a Paul Harris Fellowship. A service is to be held at All Saints on Tuesday 20th February at 1.30pm.

Steve Lines humoured us in his usual manner with his fines and jokes.

Raffle Winners...............New World vouchers..... Harjit and Carol Ansley.
Have a Go ....Gary Donoghue and Fred Holland.

Many thanks to you all for making it such an enjoyable evening.

I wish all those with any illness or recent surgery a speedy and full recovery.

Our next meeting is set down for 27th February with a guest speaker to be advised.

Kind Regards.
Malcolm J Pascoe.
