The Howick Santa Parade is fast approaching, and Somerville is once again entered a float.

The theme for the year is Rotary Projects.

We would like to extend an invitation for all the other local clubs to participate with us again.

All participants will be walking behind the trailer/float, and would ask that you wear your Rotary shirts, and if you can make some up some sandwich boards (1m x 1m using thick card) with a Rotary project on the front and a Christmas message on the back. These can be decorated with tinsel etc.

Does anyone have a large toy/pedal car that we can borrow as part of the parade.

It will be an opportunity to show our banners and signs that can be carried. We will meet on Fencible Drive at 2pm.

We also have permission to do a sausage sizzle after the event at the HawthoreDen Reserve on Cook Street.

Can you please contact me to let me know you will participate in what we are hoping will be the best parade yet. This year there are 60 floats participating (nearly double last year).

Kind Regards
Kathryn
