Retirement & Appointment of Trustees

After serving as a trustee for more than 25 years, Warren Dance has retired as a trustee.

The Trust was formation with Thomas Brydon, Trevor King and Ian Riddell as its trustees.

Warren was the first replacement trustee. He had a key role in all aspects of the Trust’s work, to the extent of himself employing or, finding jobs for refugee family bread-winners upon leaving the Mangere Refugee Centre. Warren was the property trustee for our tenanted  Highbrook industrial unit and body corporate representative.  He distinguished himself both as a Rotarian and in his time as a trustee.

We are very pleased to welcome John Osborne as our new Trustee.

Since joining Rotary John has become one of most community active Howick Rotarians with his present involvements and leadership being well noted in the activities of the Club.

John has agreed to assume the role of tenant liaison for the trusts property and to represent the Trust on the body corporate.’

The other trustees are Glen Donaldson (secretary/treasurer) and Allan Riley (chairman), both current Howick Rotarians. The Thomas Brydon Trust is outlined on page 22 in the current Club Directory.
