AUTHOR BIO

Nalini Singh was born in 1977 in Fiji and moved to New Zealand at the age of 10. Nalini attended Mount Roskill Grammar School and then completed a double degree in English Literature and Law at Auckland University.

Nalini worked as a solicitor for two years and spent three years teaching English in Japan and travelling around Asia. She has also worked as a librarian, a candy factory general hand, and a bank temp. Some people might call that inconsistency, but she calls it grist for the writer’s mill.

Nalini has been writing since she was a child and experimented with writing novels as a teenager. She completed her first full length manuscript when she was 18. While it was rejected, she kept writing and joined the Romance Writers of New Zealand. Nalini got her first deal with American publishers Silhouette in 2003 (when she was 25). While her first few books were traditional romances, her big break arrived after she began combining love stories with fantasy elements in 2006 with her book SLAVE TO SENSATION (her first book in the Psy-Changeling series).

As of early 2015, Nalini had sold more than 6 million books in 20 languages worldwide. She is most well-known in the United States and Germany. She is the New York Times and USA Today and Publishers Weekly bestselling author of two paranormal romance series (the Psy-Changeling series – which involve telepaths, shapeshifters and humans – and the Guild Hunter series – which involve angels, vampires and humans) and she also writes contemporary romance novels.

OCEAN LIGHT – Book 2: the Psy-Changeling Trinity Series

Security specialist Bowen Knight has come back from the dead. But there’s a ticking time bomb in his head: a chip implanted to block telepathic interference that could fail at any moment — taking his brain along with it. With no time to waste, he should be back on land helping the Human Alliance. Instead, he’s at the bottom of the ocean, consumed with an enigmatic changeling …

Kaia Luna may have traded in science for being a chef, but she won’t hide the facts of Bo’s condition from him or herself. She’s suffered too much loss in her life to fall prey to the dangerous charm of a human who is a dead man walking. And she carries a devastating secret Bo could never imagine …

But when Kaia is taken by those who mean her deadly harm, all bets are off. Bo will do anything to get her back — even if it means striking a devil’s bargain and giving up his mind to the enemy …
