RYLA (Rotary Young-Person Leadership Award) is a week-long residential leadership development programme for 21-30 year-olds hosted and sponsored by Rotary Clubs in district 9920.
We are seeking nominations for young people who may like to attend.
RYLA is an experiential live-in programme designed to help young people develop their teamwork and communication skills and fulfil their potential as leaders. This programme brings together a diverse group of young leaders across industries, cultures, genders and ethnicity to build meaningful and effective networks.
This in one of the best leadership programmes around. There is no cost to participants as Rotary Clubs fund attendance including live in costs. ($1575.50 including GST)
RYLA will be held at the Willow Park Convention Centre at Eastern Beach, Auckland from Saturday 27th June – Saturday 4th July.
Do you know someone you would like to nominate? This could be a family member, a neighbour, a friend or friend’s son or daughter? I suggest you check out what RYLA has to offer and talk it through with the prospective applicant. They will need to be able to take leave from their work. (Many firms are very happy for this as it is a leadership programme)
To find more information talk to Ian Fox or Dave Wylie and check out the website, https://ryla.co.nz
Nominations should be made to Ian or Dave before Tuesday 10th March.
