Community Committee Report

We need to get back to the village to work as we have in the past. The store and grounds need attention to bring them back to an acceptable standard fitting for the village.

I have organised a meeting with Peter Fisk for Tuesday the 26^th at 10.45hrs. Please note all members, friends of members etc. are welcome.

This meeting is very important as it will explain what is needed to be done in regard to  Health and Safety on the site etc. and where to sign In and Out.

Is on again Sunday the 8^th December 2019.

We will be setting up our BBQ on Hawthornden Reserve  from 0700hrs.We need a good muster of members to help. We will also need a good showing of members prepared to join the parade and promote the various community events we run such as “The Fun Run” “Bookarama” “RYLA and other youth programmes .This is also an opportunity to encourage potential members to enquire about Rotary. This is a major Community event and your participation is very welcome. Please wear you Rotary shirts and hats. The Sommerville club is co ordinating Rotary Clubs around our area to join with them in the parade.We need someone able to tow our decorated trailer.Please support your Community committee with your involvement in this important day and let Gavin know if you can help.
