Since its incorporation the Thomas Brydon Trust has been fortunate to have had long-term Trustees whose experience and passion has approached that of its founder.
Whilst it comes after the current RCOH 2018 - 2019 financial year we wish to acknowledge more recent resignation of past Rotarian and our longest current Trustee, Warren Dance.
Among his many and varied contributions, Warren provided the Trust refugees with employment in his own business or prepared & sometimes accompanied them for interview visits, and assumed the prime responsibility for liaising with new and past refugees and families. That often included their earlier refugee relatives or friends.
With the advent of the new industrial property, Warren was our Body Corp representative and handled that role and tenant liaison excellently.
So it's farewell and sincere thanks to Warren and welcome to our new Trustee, John Osborne.
John is well known within Rotary for his enthusiasm for any role he assumes, and those roles and interests are also many.
John is the new Body Corp representative. This comes at a time when the BC units all need their first round of major maintenance, with re-roofing looming. John's building construction experience will be invaluable to the Trust in this time of change.
